FM Guide to Verify Integrity Of Cache

FM14 How to Verify Integrity of Cache

Following my post about the Football Manager Cache folder I have another guide that could solve problems when running Football Manager. This guide is for more serious issues and should only be used when suggested by people with serious knowledge of FM, asking one of the Admin’s of page on FB or here is best to confirm you are doing the correct thing.

In this guide I will explain how “verify the integrity of game cache” this process is used to check that all files are installed that make FM run properly.

Open Steam

Scroll over ‘Library’ then click on the ‘All Games’ drop down

FM14 Steam Library

Right Click on Football Manager then click properties
Steam FM14 Click

Select the ‘Local Files’ then select ‘Verify Integrity of Game Cache’.

Steam will verify the game’s files, this may save several minutes.
It is recommended that you do this process twice to ensure that all files have been installed correctly.
